I remember the funeral home because my little sister died at 8 months of pneumonia, and I being the eldest son, at 8, went with my Mom and Dad to say goodby... I remember a store called Sullys? You could get a dish of french fries for a dime and a large dish for a quarter... I think the funeral home...

My brother Jeff and I played music in Lennys club across from the Bellwood turnoff. Sam Graham was our manager at the time and a good friend of Lennys.. We might not have made as much money there as we did in other clubs, but when we walked in and set up the equipment, Lenny always made us sit down ...
