Re: East End sold

... I should be able to pick one up this morning when I get done with my daily 25-mile jog/swim/bicycle ride. I would recommend consuming several before your 25 mile jog/swin/bicycle ride. Not only will they give you an burst of energy but you'll get to enjoy them for several hours as waves of onio...

Rumor has it that the Borough has asked her to write a position paper. ...local newspapers have already gotten their hands on an unverified copy. Tyrone's cruising tradition tis long.
Though some residents think it is wrong.
That it's name is symbolic
Of something so phallic
But c'mon, the circuit's shaped like a schlong.

An evenings repast in Tyrone PA.

Fried pork rinds plain and barbequed.
Donuts with sugary goodness imbued.
Onion hoagies served up rude.

...perennial Tyrone favorites all

Wash these down with malted brew.
Chased by cigarette and/or chew.
These are virtues all Tyroids accrue.

...finish up with a good bar brawl.

Re: Go to the dogs!

Here's a not so novel idea....and it can be implemented at a single borough council meeting at no cost. Allow dogs to use the Tyrone Borough controlled park land. ...Come on Tyrone leadership, somebody step up to the plate and introduce a revised and enlightened dog law in Tyrone Thanks to its Supe...

Re: History Making Inaugaration

Personally, I feel somewhat bitter.

My animosity towards immigrants and NAFTA is equaled only by my enthusiasm for hunting and high powered rifles in general.

I think what we're witnessing here is the beginning of the end times.

... so I do.

Re: History Making Inaugaration

I just wanted to ask for thoughts about today's historic inaugaration. I enjoyed listening to the speech that Barack Obama made and do think we need changes in our country. How do you think this day might change our country? Any thoughts, comments? :flag: I enjoyed his speech as well. I listened to...

Re: Windmills on Ice Mountain - Gamesa Wind Turbines

I wonder if Tyrone Council would consider the possibility of a forest fire in the watershed a serious matter? Any fire on Ice Mountain would be very difficult to combat. The terrain is steep, rugged and access is limited. Imagine a fire on a windy day in April before the leaves are out on the trees...

Re: Windmills on Ice Mountain - Gamesa Wind Turbines

Getting on Council to push only one agenda sounds like such a wonderful cause to serve the entire community. We will see how far that goes when it comes down to the hard decisions of telling someone who has a child that would benefit from a parking space in front of their home but whom has off stre...

I think I found one of Kosoglow's old campaign flyers.

Re: Windmills on Ice Mountain - Gamesa Wind Turbines

I thought it noteworthy that Kosoglow explained before the vote that he was not voting against wind on Ice Mountain. ...He felt that the Council should wait until their 5 year agreement with Gamesa was up in 2 years, and then see what the other wind companies would offer. He knows there are 14 othe...
