Re: East End sold
Rumor has it that Subway made an offer they couldn't refuse. After being introduced to the onion hoagie last fall, Denzel Washington (who is on Subway's Board of Directors) persuaded the company to up their initial takeover bid. Looking at Subway's most recent menu it would appear that Tyrone's favo...

Re: Tyrone Milling
Tyrone Milling wants $14 for a 100lb's of shelled corn - Mill Hill is only charging 11.25/100lb. If you're buying in bulk its well worth the drive down there. I bought 1 ton and saved $55. Tyrone Millings Prices Goat Feed - 13.99/50lb Hog Feed - 13.25/50lb Mill Hill's Prices Goat Feed - 10.85/50lb ...

Re: Tyrone PD - Police Department
I heard that someone spotted one of the Tyrone Police cruisers parked near the future site of Gamesa's windmill farm on Ice Mountain. East End hoagie wrappers were littered all around the clearing. Ice Mountain is in Snyder Township - who authorized this?!?!? More importantly why are the police show...

Re: Windmills on Ice Mountain - Gamesa Wind Turbines
Maybe we should cut the trees down since they to, are a conduit for wild fires...Go ask the people in California. Lighting hitting a Turbine or Lighting hitting a tree both have the potential for causing a wild fire. The people that put the Turbines up know that lighting takes the path of least res...

Re: HOAGIE WARS
Twas an evening in December, I can still clearly remember, The moderator Rick had unlocked the Hoagie thread, It seemed deliciously ironic that Tyrone's sandwich most iconic Had all bans on its discussion now withdrawn For without the Herald's news, traffic Rick began to lose It seems you don't miss...

Re: Tyrone Milling
. You forgot to mention the wonderful ambiance at Tyrone Milling. It's another reason they can charge twice as much for their products as other Feedmills. There's something about their cluttered aisles and folksy displays that confuses the senses and seduces customers into thinking that 17 dollars f...

Re: Sarah Palin visits Johnstown
If anyone is laboring under the notion that any one could bully the man who spent 5 1/2 years in the Hanoi Hilton,..., doesn't know the measure of this man..Or any other I might surmise. Leep: So you think Palin was McCain's first choice? Tell ya what - I'll keep believing he was bullied. You keep ...

Re: Sarah Palin visits Johnstown
... She is far from being a bimbo Something to say is right, "bimbo" is not an apt descriptor - dullard, dolt or simpleton would've been more accurate. McCain is the better candidate but his choice for VP was a non-starter. If anything it's hurt his chances to win. I'm sure she's a nice w...
