Well Jim I am glad you finally answered the posts for yourself! I think there are a lot of us "former" Tyrone folks out here who still consider it to be our home. I am sure in time some of us might even come back and spend more time in Tyrone in our retirement years...so we do hope the eco...

I found the perfect little container with the perfect little ice packs that could be used to ship East End Hoagies. I would think you want to put the wet ingredients on the side... including the lettuce. I think it would work but with shipping and the container a $3.00 sub could easily become a 15-2...

The East End Hoagie's Integrity has been attacked. It will probably cause sales to go down. I am so glad that when I get back to Tyrone that they won't be sold out anymore when I am running a little late to pick one up for dinner.

The justice system has spoken. Remember the jurors are people too and this was a traumatic experience for them as well. I applaud their willingess to serve on this jury. This is one of those cases that no matter the outcome it will never make sense to me.

I have not had much experience with the Tyrone hospital except we used to go over there and use the vending machines after school while we waited on our bus. However as I said before, the hospital has great value to the communities surrounding Tyrone. Ask the folks around the region that could not o...

Wow the Tyronepa board population continues to dwindle...only 137. Any sense how many of us are from out of town? It would be nice to get a few more folks that live in the Tyrone area to get involved in the boards.

One other thing you should give him credit for is the fact that he is standing up and is willing to serve his community. I'll bet there are days it would be a whole lot easier to let someone else do the job. That is where apathy has it roots. Constant criticism by others who are not actively trying ...

and...please remember our grandparents and others around us while we were growing up told us that we had too much too! I guess it is called the generation gap. Unless you have kids today and are raising them in this society, you don't understand the complexity of this issue.

Perhaps there is an agency out there that needs a place to train for terrorist attack. Perhaps they could put dummies in the building blow it up and then practice search and rescue?

Just an idea.

I forgot about the 1,000's of miles I put on my bike growing up. Any number of times I rode into Tyrone from Upper Bald Eagle. You think it was boring in Tyrone lol! Try seven miles from town.
