You know, I've been thinking about opening a new gas station down by Sheetz. Does anyone have any synonyms for "regular", "super", or "premium"? As for my "2 cents", I understand that the Gridiron Grill plans to have more than hoagies, pizza, and hot dogs. The...

If it were up to me, Duce would be on the sidelines dressed in a cheerleader uniform until he was "healthy" enough to play and earn his money!!!! :bluebounce:

What an awesome game the Golden Eagles played last night! The guys have been working hard and have really picked it up...our defense is solid and the offense explosive...TYRONE FOOTBALL!!! Hopefully, Gillmen and Morrow will get healed up and be back in the line-up. Then watch the show!!! I'm hesitan...

I think the Tyrone-Bellwood game will be a good one this year. I look for it to start out pretty evenly, with both teams playing hard and running on adrenaline. Tyrone's overall conditioning and our winning attitude will make the difference, though, and the Blue Devils will run into our brick wall.....

Well, billm, I see I have to clarify some things for you. First off, I have lived and worked in Tyrone for 28 years. I've put 3 kids through the Tyrone School District from kindergarten through graduation. I like living here and plan to stay. Unfortunately, there has been quite a decline in the qual...

I think that one thing the Hospital could pursue would be to open and run a Methadone Clinic. Or at least lease the space to an already established organization such as Discovery House. Nobody can question the need for one in Blair County, and if it's in a Medical Facility, there won't be the "...

Funny you should mention that...a little history... About 6 years ago when heroin in Tyrone was hardly mentioned, there was a doctor who absolutely flooded this town with prescription oxycontin, percoset, vicodin, and probably some that I'm not aware of. These prescriptions were filled and bought an...

I've got one basic rule for my voting, starting with the Primaries...NO INCUMBENTS. I will not vote for anyone who is already in office. The time has come to clean house, starting locally and working on up. The career politicians have run their course as far as I'm concerned- it's way past time to b...

I don't know who dropped the ball on that one...from what I understand, the authorities were under the impression that that the accused was intending to plead guilty, so they (whoever "they" are) didn't send the heroin away to be analyzed and confirmed it was indeed heroin she was selling,...

I have to disagree. That call did determine the outcome of the game. With less than 2 minutes left in the game, if Tyrone had regained possession, we could have easily run the clock out and won the game. As far as the index card goes, if you could have placed a gnat's eyelash between the football an...

Way to go, Eagles!!!! It's going to be a great game with Seton LaSalle...watched them play Alliquippa Saturday, it seems they have mostly a passing game, BUT they haven't had a run-in with Tyrone Football...Seton's coach seems to think we're a "little bump in the road" on their way to a st...
