Anyone out there know how the area is faring from the storm? We missed some school down here last week for it...so hopefully you guys won't have to endure another flood incident. We turned out OK, lots of rain, a little damp in basements, but no flooding.... One down and who knows how many more to ...

I'm sure you'll all hear about any real damage well before I hop back into this thread again. I just hope we don't have anything close to the flood damge we had last year...

Are you able to use dialup for this process? You would stream the game using whatever means you have used in the past, but the above applications would save a copy to your hard drive. The audio that we upload for streaming is usually 24kb mono. So if you can get connected through dialup at at least...

I don't think I will have the time, but I did a little more research into another idea... Stream ripping (copying). I have used the following software on my mac for saving streaming audio to my harddrive http://streamripperx.sourceforge.net/ It doesn't take up as much space as you think, you can set...

They disbanded back in 2004 as far as I know. We were going to possibly work on a new website for them, but it never made it off the ground...

If you do this, can you make it such that nobody can post the results to the thread we would bookmark to pull the game down? If I only had that much control in the real world... I would have to be modding the boards every moment until everyone let me know it was ok... I guess you'd all have to exer...

I could look into a rebroadcasting of the game. I would have to clear it with Kerry Simpson from the station and take the time to convert to mp3, but it could be done if I felt there was enough demand for it. Would anyone else be interested in this? Not that I don't have the desire to offer it, but ...
