All right, I'm gonna have to step up and make a fourth attempt (I'm 0 for 3). If I succeed this week, i will post a pic.

I've had a Mac's Hot, any recommendations for EEH?

Re: HOAGIE WARS

Just for the fun of it, I phoned East End yesterday and asked if they would deliver my order to Myrtle Beach, SC. The woman who answered replied by firmly suggesting that I perform an explicit contortionist act that would be quite difficult to carry execute AND that would be extremely uncomfortable...

Re: Tear It Down

Today's Herald covers a story on the 'regrettable' razing of the YMCA building. G&R will be applying for a demo permit on the 15th of January.

It's early in the year, but I will officially nominate this thread as the best thread of 2009. :bluebounce:

Re: HOAGIE WARS

It seems you don't miss your hoagie till it's gone. I still have yet to have one!!! And yes, our traffic has slacked off a bit, down about 35%. I honestly thought we would loose much more. December normally sees a 10% drop overall, and I was ready to see really frightening numbers like 50-75% loss....

I was digging through the dirt, and couldn't help but notice this old thread. Thought it was a good one to reflect on at the end of the year...

Re: HOAGIE WARS

I was recently approached about a long lost taboo topic on our forums, so consider it a a New Years Resolution to allow an old topic to come to light again.

As long as we keep it civil.

Happy new year all...

Re: WTRN

Ahhh, yes. Working the board on the overnight shifts. If I had to guess, he nodded off a bit. I can remember one night working at WALY where I nodded off around 4am, and woke up with pot marks on my forehead (the sliders on the mixing console) after 10 minutes or so of dead air. Never had anyone dri...

From the sounds of it, Greg Ray told me he suspected arson when he saw footprints leading up the back of the building before the fire crew showed up.

14th street apartments fire

As I was leaving the office I saw the Hookies ladder roll past. The 14th street apartments had a fire on the third floor. I'm in the Sheetz parking lot now, and will post up some pics when I get home. No one appears to be injured, the building is vacent.
