Ohhhhh yeahhh... I remember milk shake candy bars! And Marathons? Remember them? Shea field was pretty awesome... I liked playing there much more than when we moved over to the current little league. Trying for that short fence is left was always a target to plop the ball down into the river! Remember the old scoreboard in center field with the numbers you hung up.

I wasn't old enough to remember it as an airfield... only as a drag strip... but for my age group, most of the racing was up past Reservoir Park right before you head up the pike.
