PUP I was in the media and dealt with Bill as the Council VP on many occassions. Never once did Bill call me or anyone else to inform them of anything going on. That honor belongs to her honoress. We got every police report at the Herald via FAX like the Mirror, TV-10, Channel 6 and Channel 8 and 23...

I never said raising 4 kids isn't tough. There is a reason I don't have a college degree. I was stupid in college and flunked out. Now I don't have the time or money to go back. Good luck on getting your degree, but why should someone who is low income expect better housing than someone who is worki...

Well, I have been pretty quiet on this one, but it is time to erupt. I believe whatever G&R does with the YMCA building is what they choose to do with it. The possibility was there to build a new one. Rep. Stern had it in the budget one year for $1 million in which the YMCA had to match the fund...

That is the big question.

How do you get the parents to actually know what their kids are doing?

How do you get parents to think that an activity their kid is in is more than a babysitting service?

Good luck solving the problem.

I was in band in High School, but I knew where things stood and so did Gerry Roberts. We didn't learn our competition music until he knew we were dead on with the National Anthem, Alma Mater and Tyrone Will Shine. Competition Band is not part of the school cirriculum. It was a bonus activity. That i...

Local boy doing good

How about Tyrone grad John Zimmers and all the coverage he is getting this week.

He is the reason the US Open golf scores will be so high because he is the superintendent at Oakmont Country Club.

I remember John when he pitched Little League for the Elks.

Congrats to a local boy making news.

I am not allowed to play these Name That Tune games because of my former profession as a radio broadcast professional.

Hint 1972.
Hint Don McClean
Hint Madonna remade the song.

Yes Ray I, I remember.

Wasn't that the night that Rozick set the school record for yards in a game.

I also remember many a game at Adams School and the Cemetery. It was always pick your poison. The cement strip that was the first down or the tombstones that were sidelines.

Hope all is well Ray.

That is sort of funny.

1. I have never eaten an East End Hoagie ever in my life.

I was duct taped to a chair with the Eagle Head and put in the hallway before home room.

Hoagie, don't think so.

Mrs. Miller is not employed by the school district, but when I was in Elementary School, I thought she was the most valueable employee in the school district. Between Dr. Miller, Joanne Lang, Cathy Peachy and the others in the Admin wing of the elementary school, there is close to $1 million in sala...

Terry, In the place where we used to have band practice during the school day is a brand new $10 million addition that is the "Middle School". Three or four years ago Dr. Miller said we are expecting a population boom so we had to build a brand new addition. Now the population boom isn't h...
