Wow! I never thought of BEAGLES! But I guess after the bunny debacle that might SEEM feasible. It was bagels...from New York not the Lender's bagels from the freezer case at the grocery store so it was quite a bit of dough for one sitting. She does have an iron gut...she has gotten chicken bones ove...

Cornell / Tyrone Chicken
I suspicion that the Reservoir Park recipe is the famous Cornell Chicken recipe. The recipe was made known to me when I worked at Ag Sci at Penn State. From the Cornell site (see hyperlink below) the timeframe seems right as it was “discovered” in 1950 and probably made its way through the East firs...

all together now...
...the details, of course, would need to be worked out. Having some activity in conjunction with Tyrone Day is a starting point but I do believe that is usually a weekday. Maybe I should join the Alumi Association and take this to a forum of active people (coulda, woulda, shoulda...) I know that for...

I'm Jean Valjean!
(my nod to musical theater...) Maureen, TAHS class of 1977, PSU 1981, Houston, Pittsburgh, New York and then home to Tyrone in 1995. I graduated with Tammy Kimble's brother Tim (aka T-Bo). The internet does afford anonymity but in a local forum like this it is nice to see folks stepping out from beh...

climbing the "Legion Cliff"...playing ball on that field...the rickety bridge across Schell Run (not the stone bridge, but the OTHER one) the great ball field at the high school and sitting on the bank watching games...and the guys in the parking lot hanging on the fence at the pool..and w...

AN IDEA: consolidated TAHS Reunion
Here's an idea...why doesn't TAHS (and I guess I could contact the Alumni Association) start a consolidated high school reunion weekend like Bellwood does at DelGrosso park? This way all the active planning members could join forces, the attendees would get to see their own classmates and others who...

I do not know the individual mentioned previously but from the postings here it does seem like a community-minded idea. Mr. Ott sounds like a role-model for young people...an achiever and someone who perseveres. The counter proposal from Council smacks of the post-modern ethos of banality...no more ...
