Acting Out (1982)

Philosophy questioning rational thought.
Invaded from all sides,
From those not caught..
By the offended ones.
Forced to live in his head.
Everyone knows the what...
Not the why,
Why even try.

He was acting out.

Joke of the decade.
Talk of the town.
The skeleton in the closet exposed.
Even his best friends,
Have an easy put down.
Buried alive without his clothes.

Because of acting out.

Spread out his arms and hands...
Cross his feet,
Nail them to the wood...
Nice and neat.
Let him be emotionally beaten and raped.
For him, It's better to,
Scream out in writings',
Than it is to,
Act out in hate.

Moses,

I really like this...personally, it reminds me of something. There are never easy answers, are there? But there are often people willing to tell us what they think we should do...it's harder when it's you. Hope you work through it all. I've been there too...

Thanks for your comment. We all act out in different degrees for different reasons. Sorry for taking so long for the response I have been messing around with windows movie maker. Trying to upgrade the poetry by putting it on story boards with a music backround that I recorded. I am fighting with the timelines right know. BTW The Blair County Arts Foundation has the annual poetry contest comming up you can call them or get on line for more info.
