The month for the day has arrived
When the darkness comes alive
The children can pretend for a night
Who they shall be
Princesses, Hero's, Or, someone of fright

I shall sit here, with the candy sacrifice
Behind the pumpkins back.
With it's face lit stare.
Knowing that behind me..
The cloak draped
Scythe carrying
Skull faced
Bringer of perpetual darkness
Is always standing there........

Or not.
