Quietly falling

Quietly falling,
snow envelopes this world,
covering each object,
with an extra measure of beauty,
softly down.
so that,
whether there be garbage in the street,
or,
branches extending into the sky,
each magically transforms...
in one instant,
reminding me,
yet again,
that glory
can be found through simplicity,
such simple things.
falling,
like this mercy,
covering each flaw,
each regret,
now white like snow...
lovely and whole.
