The trigger..
From what somebody said.
The obession.
When the triggered thought,
Circles around in my head.
The compulsion...
Creates anger.
When the thoughts
Won't go away.
Now I blame it on,
That person.
For what was said...
The part I dread.
The rage...
I place on the person,
By using my trigger
As I slip into
That dark place.
But now I realize,
I can self-scrutinize,
Then, analyze.
It's not the one who said...
Or, what one said...
It's just the triggered compulsion,
In my head,
That can be written down.
To be read.
