Buddy got killed today
It was a horrific sight to see
Caught in the jaws of a Rottweiller
To late for any help from my wife or me.

Thrown back and forth through the air in a death grip
Over the head of the killer beast
The owner had no control
Even though the Rottweiller was on a leash

Buddy died from broken ribs
A pierced lung
A ruptured bowel
An un-fortunate end for the family friend...
But the little Pomeranian
Is dead now
