Could this quatrain from Nostradmus speak about the Golden Eagle win over P-O?
Century VII, Quatrain XXII
The mounted ones did enter the field of grey
But the eagle of gold wouldst have his way!
The talons would strike, by air, by ground.
So violent measures stunned the visitors crowd.
Such gnashing of teeth and pouting
So many long faces like a Kerry family outing.
The eagle by offense, the number 34 pegged
And in the losers column a giant goose egg
Does mounted ones refer to the P-O team--the Mounties?
Is the eagle of gold, the Golden Eagles?
It seems to even predict the score!
Strange, indeed.
