Leaving a sun soaked orbed browned crown
Protein strands, tired of the years
Has taken refuge in and on my ears
Arthritic hip
From what years of training and labor
Has done to me
I won't wear glasses
Even though I cannot see
Vanity?
Confidence given way to fears
Beaten down by the comments of years
Exile, self imposed
Erratic actions without prose
I plan for no future
There is none that I see
