Life and death walk together
In this world
Like sister and brother, or friends,
Where there is one, there is another.
How difficult to understand, at times,
Death is a part of life.

Life is everlasting_____
Life is pulsing, exhilerating,
Energetic, effervescent______

Death is depressing, discouraging,
Despondent, dark, and dreary.

And yet, looked at together;
It is death which leads us
Out of this world into life___

Life renewed;
Life in a new home, a new
Place, a new Father.
Passing through the river of death
Leads us into that
Glorious new, everlasting

Holiday!
