Bob Clites passed away last evening, Tuesday, April 6, 2010. He will be sadly missed by family and his many friends. Bob made a significant impact to our hometown. When it was learned that the VFW's "Teener League" would hold the PA State Championships here.... he went out of his way, formed a group of fellow Tyroners' and through many, many hours of hard work and dedication, they were instrumental in improving Ferner Field and keeping it maintained throughout many years. To this day, it is a field we can be very proud of. Thank you Bobby for your outstanding contribution to our hometown.... God Bless.
