Great guy! He got me started into umpiring. Always gave his own money to support his Little League teams!

I was just thinking about d*ck again today. You know, he had more new baseballs than anyone. I used to love to umpire his games. He would always give new balls to use, his team always had to have the uniforms clean and tucked in. Just a total professional look.

When I first started umpiring we would show up in shorts, jeans, whatever and a t-shirt. d*ck totally got me motivated and pointed in the right direction to wear the appropriate umpire attire. Long heather gray slacks and a powder blue shirt.

I honestly doubt I would have umpired as long and as far as I did if he wouldn't have nudged me in the right direction. Actually, it was him and all the Tyrone Little League coaches. We'll miss you d*ck.

It was Mr. Morrissey who suggested that I start umpiring.

I always respected him as a coach and playing for him was the only championship I had ever won until the past two years playing softball at Fort Monroe.

God Bless you Mr. Morrissey.
