Cole Slaw

Try this out too...

1 Bag cole slaw shredded-cabbage with carrott (like the bagged lettuce)
2 tablespoons minced onion
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper (fresh cracked works best)
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup buttermilk
1 1/2 tablespoons white vinegar
2 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice

1. Combine the sugar, salt, pepper, milk, mayonnaise, buttermilk, vinegar, and lemon juice in a large bowl and beat until smooth.
2. Add the cabbage, carrots, and onion, and mix well.
3. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

Oh man, a spoonful of that slaw on top of a chili dog, and I'll think I died and went to Southern Heaven........ :thumb:

Ohhhhhhhhh, you are sooooooooooo right !!! That sounds delicious !!! I shouldn't look at this site around lunch time. 8) I just copied both recipes. The heck with waiting on a summer picnic, I want it now..... well, soon...... :lol: .
