I also posted this in the Sports section, but didn't know if anyone would see it there for awhile:
---------------------------
Hey everyone,

So what was the outcome in the game Friday night?

Did Tyrone win?

Did they lose?

Did they get flooded out?

Did the band's drummers forget their sticks and have to play bongos?

Did the Huntingdon concession stands sell tainted caviar and cause a food-poisoning epidemic?

Did Britney Spears sing the National Anthem?

Man, I really need to discuss these new medications with the VA on Monday morning...

Hey beachbiker,

Tyrone is playing right now! They did not play due to the weather last eve. The current score is 20-7 - Tyrone winning!!!

Mainegirl,

Thanks - will try to tune in to the rest if still playing. Don't go to work until later tonight.

Weather delaying a football game? What ever happened to "old-school" play?

Of course, if it was a matter of being flooded out or something, I can understand.

I hope, however, it wasn't something like a blizzard or anything that delayed it...

Greetings from Milwaukee,

I will be missing tonight's game.

On the air in Milwaukee instead of being locked into my website.

Banksy, if you can e-mail me quarterly scores that would be great.

Thanks and Go GOLDEN EAGLES

Hey Rick and Ray and Danielle.

Sorry about the flooding. I hope things are all good and you are able to recover from this setback.

Is the game going to be online tonight or do I need to call and ask for quarterly updates on the cell phone.

Hope you get things back up soon.

Internet Broadcast

I'm livingin Covington, Va and saw that the games were to be broadcast via the internet. I've tried for 2 weeks to get on and it always says the server is down. I'd love to be able to listen. I have a broadband connection with the right audio player. How can I get this broadcast? Any help would be appreciated.

Albert:

The listening site is only "up" shortly before the game starts. The problem you have been having lately is not you or your system. Let me explain:

1. Because of the hurricane, the game this past Friday was postponed until Monday. There was really bad flooding. The road at Nealmont to Huntingdon/Lewistown was closed for a few days. A f ew feet of water was ion PA avenue and from what I understand Park Avenue was really pounded.

2. TyronePA.com from what I understand was flooded and has lost some functionality. Clearly the machine or whatever is needed to broadcast the games online.

I am hoping that they get the football games up and running shortly. It's been great the frist two weeks to listen to the games. Harlow and I log on to AOL IM and chat during the game. It's just a great way to keep in touch with our town and each other.

Greetings from Milwaukee.

Any word if the game will be back online tonight? Rick?

Glad you guys have re-located and are somewhat operational again.

Hope all goes well.

No Game on Internet Tonight

Just got off the phone with Rick Gority of Open Door Visions.

They had 2 1/2 feet of water in the building and if you think about it, 2 1/2 feet of water and computers are not a good mix.

They are in the process of moving their offices. They hope to have broadband internet back by the middle of next week and hopefully ready to have next week's game online.

I will do my best to give quarterly scores from tonight's game.
