It is the best time of the year in Tyrone. On Monday, coach Franco opens up conditioning camp.

Hope is high for another great season out of the boys in Orange and Black.

Can't wait to listen to the Tyrone-Bellwood game online.

Hey Harlow,

Yes. It is that time again! My Parents come to visit me every year the first week in August. My father plans it this way. He can then be back in Tyrone for FOOTBALL Season! His most favorite season!!
I too look forward to hearing the games as well. Reminds me of the good old days.

Nothing beats humiliating Bellwood....I hope Leonard passes them silly and we beat them 50-0. John, what would the old ball cocah say????

Difference between Franco and Spurrier

Franco won't try to put half a hundred up on anyone. Spurrier is disappointed when he doesn't.

Bellwood will be good this year. They are returning a lot of players from a District Championship team.

Go Golden Eagles.

It would be nice to see Franco hang half a hundred on Bellwood, but I wouldn't bet on it.

Well, it's great to be a Senior Member now on tyronepa.com

I wish I would be able to get home for the games, but unfortunately, I am not able to.

This will be the first Tyrone-Bellwood game I will have missed since 1997 because I worked in Gainesville.

Oh well, the amazing play-by-play of Radio Rich will have to do.

GO GOLDEN EAGLES

Is there any way to listen to the games after they happened? I have to be at games down here on Friday nights so by the time I get home the live feed is over....I caught the playoff games last year and they were exciting....especially the call with the index card....Oh well an almost to the finals moment!

I could look into a rebroadcasting of the game. I would have to clear it with Kerry Simpson from the station and take the time to convert to mp3, but it could be done if I felt there was enough demand for it. Would anyone else be interested in this? Not that I don't have the desire to offer it, but it will take a little more of my time to get it done.

MP3

That would be great if it were accomplished but I would agree there would have to be a number of folks who were willing to take advantage of the programming in order for it to have viability.

Thanks for putting up for discussion...let's see what happens.

I would definitely be interested in this. Friday nights sometimes are tough for me as I am flying home from some place. I travel a lot for work and woud love to listen to the game on Saturday mornings or something.

We would just need to stay off the boards until we hear it so that we don't ruin the surprise. If you do this, can you make it such that nobody can post the results to the thread we would bookmark to pull the game down?

One thought...not sure how large an entire football game MP3 would be, but, maybe break it into quarters so that you could download seperate files and reduce the size of the file?

Anyone else????????????????

I went up last night to the field and watched the "boys" go through some drills. They looked alright. They looked alot smaller than the past teams that have come through TAHS but I hear they are stronger! and faster! They have a scrimmage tonight and the first quarter or half of the game is to be played just like a game so I'm anxious to see how they do.
Harlow this has got to be killing you! I feel for you... should have stayed in good ole Rone!

Please update us out of towners how things go tonight. Also, I saw on the website they do an "Annual Mother's Play" at this scrimmage. What is that all about. Sounds like it might be something we may want to copy here in FL.
