I'm sitting here now, pre-game, eating pizza from a place down here named "Donatelli's Steel City Pizzeria". The owner is a Pittsburgh transplant, and has the only really back-home pizza around; and is the only one around here who imports all ingredients from "back home".

Once I'm done with this, I won't want to eat anything the rest of the day. I should note that I'm still awake from 9:30 last night - worked a 13 1/2 hour overnight shift - and hope that I go to sleep late this evening (after the game) VERY satisfied in many ways.

Some pretzels DO sound good right now, but I'm too tired to drive or take the golf cart to the store event though it's only about 1/4 mile away.

Ohhh, and shrimp....shrimp... I could have bought it fresh off the boat on my way home a few hours ago. Maybe tomorrow. Celebration, hopefully...

Almost kickoff and I am inside the radio station watching it on a 15 inch TV for part of the 1st Qtr.

Then a 45 minute drive home to get there for the 2nd half.

Hope everyone enjoys the game.

Hey, I think we have a pro here! Great job!

I really WAS tempted to post a REAL prediction BEFORE the game this time. Rather than actual scores, I usually prefer to predict a range for the teams. My prediction would have given the Steelers 30-37 points and the Seahawks 10-13.

I also thought some factors would be penalties and key injuries. Especially with the Steelers learning some new plays this past week regarding the penalties. In the opening moments, this seemed to be the case, but they came through. Game-in-progress injuries seemed to effect the Seahawks for sure.

By the way, I jokingly told many local Steelers fans down here that they could could really "clean up" if they placed bets with some of these South Carolina natives. Here is all they had to do:

When a local down here asks a Steeler fan to place a bet, the Steeler fan immediately states:

"I'll bet you $100.00 that the BRONCOS don't even score a single point against the Steelers in the Super Bowl this year"... :thumb:

PS: Mixed feelings - "The Bus Stops Here".
