Nice game... if you're a duck.

The kind of offense Hayes decided to go with this year is not effective at all, and why he switched it up from the previous years, I have no idea.

In all honesty, I wasn't impressed by either team. I don't know how long Tyrone will hold on to that state ranking, but I don't think it'll be long unless they have an easy schedule.

And just for the record, I am not a Bellwood alumni. Just happen to reside here for the time being.

Sounded better in Ohio than it does on 1340 4 miles from the station! Good to hear Radio Rich's voice again.... Tyrone winning... Coach Hayes making stupid moves.... and the cold breeze again.

Can anyone post an injury update on Franco? Also, could someone find out the series win/loss between Tyrone and Bellwood.

I am always impressed to see young people playing sports or any activity that is productive. I am sure there will be some adjustments made by each team to enable them to go on to winning seasons.

I am sure all of those kids played as well as they could tonight. Lets remember they are still kids, this is high school football. I am sure Bellwood had some heavy hearts tonight due to the loss of one of their coaches. I am sure the Golden Eagles were saddened by this loss also.

This was the first game for these two teams and my hats off to both.

Is there a way to listen to the game sometime over the weekend...some of us work Friday nights...my school is off to 0-2 losing 41-21 so it would be nice to hear the game since Tyrone won?

sorry Jay... this is WTRN not Tivo.. Tyrone is off to a good start I hope they can keep up this momentum and build on this experience.. they didn't look too good at the start but rallied well in the second quarter Best of luck the Golden Eagles.. :thumb: PS I work Friday nights too but took the night off to go to this one.. :bluebounce:

I talked to Johnny Franco after the game. He is OK. Cramps was all he had and with the game winding down and Gillmen out, Franco didn't take any chances with Franco.
