Anbody else think the Steeler front office wishes they would've coughed up the dough for Randle El?

Not really.... 8 million for a 3rd WR isn't good money spent. The problem is two-fold... Ben has lost some touch with this health issues... that will get better.... 2nd, the O-Line is aging and are having problems this year.

I bet they would like to have not traded up to get Santonio Holmes and stuck with their pick and just taken Nick Mangold.

I agree with you on Holmes but Randle El was more than the 3rd WR. And Ben and the aging O-line don't run back kicks (or catch passes). Long season ...

Don't get me wrong, I think Randle El adds value to the team, but I don't think our record is any different with him on the team.... and again, he isn't worth an $8 million signing bonus and then 6 years at $27 million. That would limit the team far to much for what he provided.

Holmes will eventually come into his own.... if you want to talk about more Steelers troubles.... WTF do we pay Duce Staley 1.7 million a year for to stand on the sidelines in sweatpants and a sweatshirt twirling a Terrible Towel.... that's one expensive cheerleader.

I hope Cowher finds a way to incorporate Najeh Davenport into the running game more.... but unless that line gets in gear, we are running nowhere fast.

I really think we mised the boat not getting TJ Duckett before the season started. They really thought Duce would work through this and it is obvious he isn't.

If it were up to me, Duce would be on the sidelines dressed in a cheerleader uniform until he was "healthy" enough to play and earn his money!!!! :bluebounce:
