I like the design of the 2008 Challenger; I think Dodge did a great job of presenting a new version of the old Challengers of the "muscle car" era. I'd speculate a price in the range of the low to mid/upper $30s, depending on individual options - probably not much more than the Charger but probably won't have to be offered with drastic price reductions of about $6000 to spur sales like has happened with the Chargers (and Caravans, Durangos and Dodge trucks).
As far as color, I've seen many Chargers in the lime green - especially close up on the dealer lot while in for routine service work like oil change/tire rotation, as recently as last week. Looks sharp for sure.
But I'm REALLY partial to that Sunburst Orange, as we bought a Dodge Caliber SXT Sport when they first came out (on fact, we bought the only orange one in the very first shipment the dealer received). There's just nothing quite like that Sunburst Orange, and it just sets off any vehicle it's on (especially the Caliber, Nitro, Avenger, and Charger.)
Day or night, and under different other lighting conditions, it has a luster that can’t be described (yet it seems to change color tone a bit with various lighting like I've never seen). Sometimes more a brilliant reddish-orange - other times more a pure orange.
Below is a photo (that I sometimes use as an avatar on this board) sorta showing what I mean (of course, it just happens to be the official Harley-Davidson colors - and has Harley decals to accent the color, too). It's possible that this car may be making the trip from Myrtle Beach to Tyrone this coming weekend for an unexpected and unplanned visit (funeral services for a relative):
