Coach George Gripp has the boys looking pretty impressive in the early goings of the season. Not a huge b-ball fan, but I go to a few of each of the sporting events I can. I'll be going to more of the boys games; they look like they could make it back to St Francis if they stay healthy and on the same page. Keep it up guys!!!

The boys are looking good this year! My son loves basketball, so we try to go to a few of the games. Coach Gripp also does a lot with the elementary basketball programs at the school and at Blair Rec, he's great with the kids.

Are any of the game slated to be on the radio/internet? It would be nice to hear a game or two down here in Florida.

The Tyrone boys played their first play-off game yesterday. Anyone know the outcome?

• Tyrone 60, Bishop Canevin 47: Tyrone (23-5) raced to a 10 point first-quarter lead and never looked back in defeating Bishop Canevin (15-14) at North Hills. Steve Mackin led the Crusaders with 18 points.

Tyrone lost 50-46 to North East last night. What a great season they had under second-year coach George Gripp. They played hard all year and made the games so exciting to watch. We're proud of you!
