For us TAHS grads, what were some of the worst meals served up by the cafateria staff?

For me, I always hated the grilled cheese and tomato soup days. We always called that "bricks and battery acid." Other than that, it was usually good things they served.

I always enjoyed eating the jello through the straws and getting paddled by Mr. Walters for always goofing off. I think he loved paddling me.

We did have the patented Green Weenies. Thankfully on Green Weenie days, we had fudgies.

Its funny that someone asked about our favorite Tahs Cafe meal... Mine was their green beans, ham and potatoes.. not really for the greenbean stuff but they always had the best sticky buns with it.. yumm...
I just made ham and greenbeans the other day and would have tried the Pnut butter sandwich with it, if only I could eat the white bread.. How many more days til lent is over???

I am still wondering if I get credit for the hundreds of articles posted that were written by me.

That could put me to Grand Poo-Bah Status of this Water Buffalo Lodge.

Speaking of Water Buffalo, would anyone like to buy a part of a buffalo? If you do, please call my dad, so my inheritance isn't wasted on a buffalo.

Yeah, you people that went to TAHS after us those of us that graduated in the 70's, had a TAHS cafe  ... all we had was a cafeteria and you either bought the swill of the day or you carried your lunch.. But I will admit, the sloppy joes were memorable...never had any other sloppy joes quite like tham  .. though I am not complaining.. usually had no-bakes with them.. yum yum :thumb:

You know I wish someone knew someone that had that sticky bun receipe. When I remembered the green beans and potatoes...I instantly remembered the sticky buns. If anyone has that receipe...please post it!
