sept 24 (National Guard Parade)
This Wednesday, September 24, the community of Tyrone and surrounding area will honor our soldiers, who leave on the September 25 for Iraq, with a parade and prayer service at Gray Memorial Veterans football stadium at 12:00 o'clock noon. If you live in this area, please plan to be there. We must be in prayer for this great nation of ours, that we will have peace and also for the election on November 4th. Ask our Lord to guide us in making our decision who should lead this nation under God in this most important election.

I took many pictures of the day and have some of the Soldier that was promoted. I would like to get those pictures to that Soldier's family. So I am trying to locate his name. I'm hoping with some investigation I will be able to find them soon. That day was truly a sentimental day and I am so glad that the Servicemen were pleased with the huge turnout for the parade and ceremony. :flag:
