I wish I would have seen/read that entire "trilogy" from it's very beginning. I haven't read and or seen any of it, except for bits and pieces.
It sounds VERY good and it does parallel "Bewoulf and Grendl".... I just wonder how much it parallel's life here on earth as we know it today ??
Or, I know we're not in Kansas anymore, but, is it all just a fairy tale ??
Sorry to interupt yours on the previous page BB. Dunno that one.

They did pick Sean Astin to be in Lord of the Rings because of his performance in Rudy. I don't know, I didn't watch it until I actually saw Lord of the Rings, but he was good in both. Not my favorite, but I watched an interview that was on youtube, and I like the idea of hard work paying off, and having a dream you're working towards...I know, I'm a dreamer too.

here's a line..... If anyone guesses this film from this one line.... know this... I was never there....saw none of it...didn't do the dance....and certainly wasn't in awe of Frank. :P (( Although I did fancy RR )) haha

"And crawling, on the planet's face, some insects, called the human race. Lost in time, and lost in space... and meaning."

The film with the following lines (at the very end of the movie) remains unanswered:

“All right, who's gonna tell me what the h*ll happened here?”

“l didn't see nothing. You see anything, Pete?”

“No, l didn't see anything. You see anything, Red?”

“l didn't see nothing. Not a thing. You see anything, Tinker?”

“A polar bear fell on me.”

-----------------------------------------------------------------
New hint - a few more quotes:

"This place has a sign hangin' over the urinal that says, "Don't eat the big white mint"."

and

"All you have to do is follow three simple rules. One, never underestimate your opponent. Expect the unexpected. Two, take it outside. Never start anything inside the bar unless it's absolutely necessary. And three, be nice."

OOH, OOH!! Something to say, i got yours.. Rocky Horror Picture Show. What a GREAT movie.. a little bizzarre but isn't Tim Curry a hoot??? Here's another movie he was in and that is the only clue i'll give you:

Professor Plum, you were once a professor of psychiatry specializing in helping paranoid and homicidal lunatics suffering from delusions of grandeur.

That's all I got... Enjoy :thumb:

Another moment from a comedy classic featuring a comedy legend:

------------------------------------------------------
"Shut up, meat-head!"

"Hey, take it easy, will ya? I mean, the war's over. Get new parts for your head. "

"Yeah? Wanna make something of it? "

"Oh, no, no. I never get physical. I just get upset. And when I get upset… HE gets physical."

"You got a problem?"

"No. I haven't got a problem."

"Well, now you do."

-------------------------------------------------------

Another (single) quote, same movie:

-------------------------------------------------------
"Oh, we were doomed from the start. I'm an Earth sign. She's a Water sign. Together, we made mud."
-------------------------------------------------------

Back to School.... I'm not sure I would put this into the comedy classics, like Porky's (lol) but I did see it at the time.
