OK...here's a few lines from a film that WE ALL HAVE SEEN and the first time you saw it...there were moments you closed your eyes, or jumped, or screamed, or sat at the edge of your seat....maybe peed your pants..hahaha.

"Here's to swimmin' with bow-legged women."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Here lies the body of Mary Lee; died at the age of a hundred and three. For fifteen years she kept her virginity; not a bad record for this vicinity."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Farewell and adieu to you, fair Spanish ladies. Farewell and adieu, you ladies of Spain. For we've received orders for to sail back to Boston. And so nevermore shall we see you again."

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"That's one bad hat, Harry. "
:fogey:

Yes, to the above (Sts and BB).... that was a GREAT movie at the time !! Another quote I remember someone saying is;
Maybe not exact words, but, something like.... "You're gonna need a bigger boat." Hummmm, I'd like to see that movie again.

Love this film.....do ya know it?

"I used to talk about killing myself all the time, man. But I don't wanna die now. It ain't long enough. Sixteen years ain't gonna be long enough. h*ll, I wouldn't care so much if there hadn't been so many things I haven't done yet. So many d*mn things I ain't seen or done. That time when we were in Windrixville was the only time I've ever been away from my neighborhood."

It's like the mist is what's pretty, ya know? All gold and silver.

mm Hmm

Too bad it can't stay like that all the time.

Nothing gold can stay.

No guesses? I'm assuming this one may be too old or obscure.......OR......UNLIKE ME...you all have a life AND ACTUALLY DO something on the weekends...haha...most likely the case....anyway.......here's a clue.

Some of the cast were not well known at the time the film was made, and quite a few of them have went on to become big box office draws....including.....Tom Cruise, Patrick Swayze, and Diane Lane.

Something to Say,

I thought I might know this movie, but I was thinking of Ralph Macchio from Karate Kid first. I thought he did a great job in this, but it's been awhile since I saw it. Then I looked it up to double check. Outsiders right? I actually found the scene on youtube...pretty cool! Thanks.

Anyone remember the movie with Tim Curry and Tom Cruise? Tim Curry was the most beautiful and terrifying Demon I've ever seen. It was the 'voice' as he is totally unrecognizable in character. I can't come up with the very pretty little actress, "Lily" was the character name. Very good soundtrack but, I am a soundtrack kinda person.

That would be "Legend" from quite some time back. Lily was played by a teenage Mia Sara - about the same timeframe as when she played Ferris Bueller's girlfriend in "Ferris Bueller's Day Off".

New quote:

What choice do I have? It is as if you have grabbed me by the base of my snarglies!

Hint: the main character in the film is saying this to an auto mechanic he feels is ripping him off...

That would be a bingo.

Most of the quote I used is at the 1:48 mark of the movie's trailer:

A new quote - and the movie is?...

"...I hope this was as much fun for you as it was for me. Let's have lunch, shall we? And maybe, smoke a cigarette..."
