Clem's BBQ

Can't we get a restaurant that serves the customer, or for that matter understands basic restaurant etiquette? Good location, easy access to I-99, what more could you want? Steady hours, pleasant atmosphere would be a start. The current owners seem to lack business knowledge. The BBQ is good, but you can only eat so much. What else is on the menu? Owners have a bar license, but fail to stock common beverages and mixers. They complain about a lack of business. Passing by business is minimal. Once potentials customers are turned off they will not return. Money is just as easily spent in Huntington, St. College or Altoona. If your going to be open till 8:00pm the be open, If your going to post your open from Tuesday through Sunday, then do it. There isn't any reasons for people to drive to Tyrone, no draw. We'll spend our money in the above mentioned areas. The Bull Pen seems to be busy, DJ, Racers and Burley's hold their own. A lot of Tyrone residents travel out of town for a good meal and experience. Wake up.

I agree the BBQ is good, but twice we've been there where the only sides they had were potato salad. Other were sold out, and the friers were broke so they couldn't make the fries. We still stop in occasionally, because we do like the food and don't always want to drive to Altoona.
