Awwwww Banksy, it just ain't no fun on here without'cha and everyone else !! We still have snow, more snow, windmills, condemn buildings, the good 'ole days, East End Hoagies, the height of the "ljr" before, and after, the snow melts.... sooooo much more to discuss and save forever. How can we possibly let this waste away ?? Besides, :ttiwwp:
Facebook ??!! I understand everyone is living in "FarmVille" ....watering crops, raising cows and chickens.... sounds like fun, but....I lost my shovel a long time ago. Come back to Our-Town-Ville.... we have a lot of crops to water and chickens to feed. Take care, miss ya all .

That Farmville crap is annoying... lol... but Facebook is a nice place to reconnect with people. I still come here and check, but havent started any threads. I NEVER read that Windmill thread... they are fighting a losing cause.

I'm still down here in NC and waiting for Spring to sprung!
We've had more snowfalls this winter than we've had in the past 15 years!

Hi RNF....Wow, you folks certainly have had your share of winter weather.... especially for North Carolina !! Here too.... giant heaps of plowed snow setting around, but, they are being hauled away and/or melting well....fears of flooding have become less!! Hopefully, all of us are over that hump now. Daylight is getting longer.... come on Spring !! Wish this board would not have fizzled out as it has...sure do miss it.... we had some good times on here. Darn it !! Still keeping the fingers crossed in hopes that all will come back once again.
Take care of you RNF ....keep on wishin' for that sunshine and warmer weather.

Hi Watcher..... Happy Spring to you too !!! I regrettably spoke too soon (above) .... looks like high waters are upon us today.... hopefully, they will continue downstream and not take a detour into town.

I know, My2Cents, I saw flooding today too! I wish flooding wasn't a part of spring, but maybe, rain, and flowers, and everything, it's all apart of new life...and we all need that don't we? I know I need new life, change, every day...spring reminds me how much! :h

BB, you're seeing sunshine,sand,grass,palm trees an ocean.... we're seeing grey skies, sand bags, crab grass, bare trees, an a swollen river. Now tell me, what's wrong with this picture ?? Wait, I know.... it has something to do with that Spring Break and you know how beautiful things start to look around here whenever the Spring breaks thru. It's not your everyday bikini clad Margaritaville, but hey, it will always be your good 'ole hometown. Meanwhile, have fun, enjoy and charish that salt sea air and every grain of sand.... for that is truly the life !!!

Well, if you're going to have flooding - get it out of the way now.

Otherwise, it tends to really screw up that cherished traditional local holiday back there known as "The First Day of Trout Season". :fogey:
