It was good to read in the Altoona Mirror today that the Borough of Tyrone is finally taking more of a hands on approach towards the fire companies in Tyrone. For to many years the borough has not had any idea what has been going on at any of the fire companies in Tyrone, this also included the former Borough Cheif and Council member. This is also true by the fact that no one from the borough has even questioned the past problems at the Citizens Fire Company. Even when they knew that money was being embezzeled by a former Officer of that company, they spent all of there time raising h*ll about a youth dance.
