I remember reading on this website last fall that the school board was considering soccer. To quote part of the article from Oct 8th written by John Harlow, the athletic director said [color=red]“Because of the way the league operates, the earliest we could start a soccer program would be the 2005-06 school year.”[/color]
So has anyone heard anything additional on this? My child for one is one who will have to stop playing after this springs leaque is over. I know a good number of them will be done this spring and would like to continue.
This is the one and only sport some of these kids play.

Good question, I am interested to know if Tyrone is headed in this direction, but I would like to ask CheerMom one question. Do you drive a mini-van?

My daughter told us at supper tonight that a school announcement was made, any child from 9th to 12th grade interested can NOW sign up for soccer!
