Who are you and what do you do?

Post by Harlow »

Since it seems that most of us use this website and message board to keep up with Tyrone events or lack of them and also to meet up with old friends, why don't we all take a minute to say who we are and what we are doing now.

I'll start.

John Harlow TAHS Class of 84

I am now an Army Public Affairs Specialist at Fort Monroe, Va and also work at 94.9 The Point.

Lets hear from you folks.

I'm Tammy Kimble Wiltz, I lived in Tyrone until I was in 2nd grade and then moved to Tipton where I lived until I was 15. I now live in Magnolia, Arkansas where I'm a legal assistant at a small law firm. I married a guy from Louisiana and have a 12 year old son named Ben.

Harolow, we used to go to church together at Grace Bible on Washington Ave. years ago. :D

If I stayed in Tyrone, I would have been in the class of 1984.

I had to fill out this stupid form for another job. Hope this helps everybody get to know me.

Headline: Beligerent, Defiant, and Deviant

About Me: I'm just your average DJ. I built my own radio when I was six in an attempt to convey my political disagreements with states affiliated with the Soviet bloc. Following a unsuccessful run at mayor of Des Moines, I got my first job in radio as a disc jockey in Little Rock, Ark. I was eventually "asked" to leave town for playing "music agin God and his Kingdom." In Little Rock they don't want western, just country. Who knew?
Interests: Antelope migratorial patterns of South West Africa, fancy jackets, smashing my fists into walls.

Favorite Music: (Also Pick 1 of your favorite current videos) Panzer Waltzes of the Third Reich; Don Johnson, "Heartbeat."

Movies: Blacula, Ferris Bueller's Day off, and several "straight to video" titles I do not wish to share in a public forum, such as the Internet.

Television: I do not watch television. I have never owned a television in my life, nor will I enter a home or building that is equipped with a television. They has eyes in them and can control the weather.

Heros: Dr. Dre and Radio Pete Szebin

Books: Thomas Pynchon, Henry comic strips, cereal boxes

Marital Status: I am currently involved in an open marriage with three circus performers and a cashier at a cigarette shop.

Hometown: Minsk

Smoker: In an attempt to ward off cataracts I currently smoke a product--all natural--considered by the powers that be as "illegal."

Drinker: Shoe polish and Dr. Pepper. With a slice of lime.

Children: (Do You Want any?) I am not interested in extending the misery of existence and promoting the false belief that one can extend mortality vis a vis offspring.

Education: Hatfield School for the Deranged, Juliard, Princeton

Schools: How the h*ll is this different from Education?

Gender: I'm gonna pretend you didn't ask that question.

Date Of Birth: Time is relative. ask my cousin.

Hey Tammy

How is the rest of the family. Yes, I remember going to church together as young children through teenage years.

Hope all is well for you.

John,

The family is all doing fine. They're all in Louisiana except for me and my oldest brother Joe, he lives in Altoona.

How's your Mom & Stephanie? Tell them I said "hi".

Hi everyone. My name is Lindsay and I own the dance studio (Dance Fusion) downtown Tyrone. I live in Altoona and graduated from AAHS in 95 and Clarion University in 99. I read the discussions to try to stay on top of all the local news and gossip. Harlow you always are cracking me up!
Tyrone has a lot of great people and kids living in this town. If only we could do something about all the wall rats hanging in the park constantly harrassing my students and parents coming to and from the dance studio!

Hey Lindsey,

Glad things are going well for you with the new studio.

The wall rats are part of the charm that is Tyrone. I do miss all the trouble that I used to create and mediate in Tyrone.

Smile and take care of yourself.
