I dont know the song, but the clue about Tiger beat leads me to believe it is Leif Garrett.

Banksy.. the Tiger Beat thing is just Bobby Sherman the cop.. However the song in question is an oldie but goodie indeed.. I seem to recall a strange looking fellow in the comic strips called Alley Oop. Now not going back that far how's this one?

Okay, Banksy, I understand and I think I'm right there with you, so here are some new lyrics,


These are actually from my old Young Life days, although why we sang these then, I'm still not quite sure...
