You watched it and lasted THAT LONG?

The record prior to that was 23 seconds - and that was held by the deaf, dumb, and blind kid from "Pinball Wizard"...

"Feel Like I'm Fixing To Die"

Come on all of you big strong men
Uncle Sam needs your help again
he's got himself in a terrible jam
way down yonder in Viet Nam so
put down your books and pick up a gun we're
gonna have a whole lotta fun

And it's one, two, three, what are we fighting for
don't ask me I don't give a d*mn, next stop is Viet Nam
And it's five, six, seven, open up the pearly gates
ain't no time to wonder why, whoopee we're all gonna die

Come on wall street don't be slow
why man this war is a go-go
there's plenty good money to be made by
supplying the army with the tools of its trade
let's hope and pray that if they drop the bomb,
they drop it on the Viet Cong

Come on generals, let's move fast
your big chance has come at last
now you can go out and get those reds
cos the only good commie is the one that's dead and
you know that peace can only be won when we've
blown 'em all to kingdom come

Come on mothers throughout the land
pack your boys off to Viet Nam
come on fathers don't hesitate
send your sons off before it's too late
and you can be the first ones on your block
to have your boy come home in a box

"See the stone set in your eyes
See the thorn twist in your side
I wait for you

Sleight of hand and twist of fate
On a bed of nails she makes me wait
And I wait without you"

Hey how about this one. The words seem kind of appropriate in todays economic times

Give me a job, give me security
Give me a chance to survive
I'm just a poor soul in the unemployment line
My god, i'm hardly alive
My mother and father, my wife and my friends
I see them laugh in my face
But i've got the power, and i've got the will
I'm not a charity case

In the cool of the evening when ev'rything is gettin' kind of groovy,
I call you up and ask you if you want to go and meet and see a movie,
First you say no, you've got some plans for the night,
And then you stop, and say, "All right."
Love is kinda crazy with a spooky little girl like you.

Well, I already knew the title to this, I think, which is Spooky Little Girl Like You, but I didn't know the artist. I've been going around singing this for the last couple of days now, though, can't get it out of my head! Thanks!

It's just listed as "Spooky" done either by Classics IV or Atlanta Rhythm Section.

Dusty Springfield's version has the line "Love is kind of crazy with a spooky little boy like you" instead.

As far as getting it out of your head, sorry can't help. I still have this song stuck in mine

"But with the over-population and inflation and starvation
And the crazy politicians
I dont feel safe in this world no more
I dont want to die in a nuclear war
I want to sail away to a distant shore and make like an ape man"

It's pretty catchy, so I don't mind. Is there a version done by the Zombies too?

Had this song in my head this morning...

Won't you look down upon Jesus,
you got to help me make a stand,
just got to make it through another day,
my body's aching and my time is at hand,
and I ain't going to make it any other way...

Well...I've seen fire and I've seen rain,
etc...
but I always thought I'd see you again...
