A proposal to Snyder Township Library

Post by Piscatori »

This posting is intended for the express purpose of community feedback. Many folks have discussed their willingness to attend a series of classes, conducted Professionally and Proficiently, here locally. It affects us all, this lack of basic computer knowledge. When we hear folks say, "I am stupid about computers" or "I don't even mess with them", that idea is counter-productive to community growth. Every individual in our community has access to computers at our local library. This idea is not new. Success is based on lessons learned, knowledge and committment.

Proposal:
Setup computer classroom utilizing the current systems in house. Charge a "make sense" price for 6 hours of professionally presented instruction on basic computer skills. basic Windows XP, How to's of e-Mail, Wordprocessing...

Pay half at sign-up. If rescheduling is not an option full refund is granted.

Monday Wednesday Thursday 5:15-7:15 7:30-9:30

Class Size - 5 (Wi-Fi would enable additional laptop users)

The Philosophy of Action...Priceless!
