In addition to my previous post, you need to ask each candidate what their qualifications are to serve in office. Don't vote for someone because they have a personal ax to grind (I know this is every difficult given the situation you are in right now), but vote for them because you TRULY believe and ...

Dragonfly69, I would caution you about your comment about "working the polls". It is against the law to campaign within 100 feet of any polling site. Don't subject youself to a citation just to prove a point. Tampering with elections is a federal offense! All of you can accomplish your goal in other ...

Rest in Peace Officers Eric Kelly, Stephen Mayhle, and Paul Sciullo III. Know that your fellow officers throughout these United States of America honor your dedication to the service of the citizens of Pittsburg and the State of Pennsylvania. God rest your souls in Heaven. You have made the ultimate ...

God Bless Mark Dunskin, John Hege, Ervin Romans and Daniel Sakai, fallen officers of the Oakland, California Police Department. Their memorial service was beyond belief. I will never, ever forget it. Let us not forget the risks every police officer takes every day of their lives to protect each and ...

God bless you, Aunt Patty, Greg, Crhisty, and the rest of our family who are fighting to keep Tyrone an honorable, decent, crime-free home town. I wish I didn't live across the country because I would be there in a heartbeat to help clear Greg's name. My brothers and sisters are informed about what ...

Thank you, Rick, for bringing this blog under control. We know all of you are upset about the events that have happened and the length of time it takes to resolve this situation. It is very frustrating to say the least!! But, I would caution each of you that what you say on here is not private. It ...

Is your council and borough managment trying to "break" your union?

snyd2001 - never mind. I just reread the rules and understand the "stuck in outbox" issue. Makes sense now.

This is for synd2001 - I have replied to your private posting, but they appear to be stuck in my "outbox". I don't know if you have received them or not. I hit the "submit" button, but there is no "send" button. Any suggestions or am I completely mixed up on this "private" section?

Matt, if you are represented by a union, I would suggest you contact your representative for representation. Unions have lawyers to assist in matters such as this. I understand that there is legislation underway for Police Officer's Bill of Rights in PA. Since you are still in possession of keys ...

This comment is to Bill Latchford. You, as a council member could have called for an investigation a long time ago. Who are you kidding? I feel that you have received enough complaints against your chief to start an investigation involving corruption within your police department. I would suggest ...

Having been through a Grand Jury, Department of Justice and Attorney General investigation, I would caution everyone that if you are called to testify that you swear to tell the truth and present true documentation. This is the most important thing that you can do to help Greg's case. Don't let him ...

A while back some one commented about the process of filing a complaint with your city . Anyone, at anytime, can fill a complaint about a public official or employee with your county clerk, city or pubic administrator. You merely have to request a complaint form and by law they have to give it to ...

synd2001 you are absolutely correct. This does affect very case that has been filed since this started. Every criminal involved will try to negate the charges against them. Your officer credibility will be compromised. You won't know who is telling the truth and who isn't. This will cost you ...

I live in California, have worked for my city (accountant 10 years) and have also served as a City Council member and then as Mayor of my city. I was very proud to serve my community. Public service is one job you can hate and love at the same time. It is stressful and your family suffers. But, if ...
