My2Cents gave a clue I think, but I don't see it now...the title is "Blinded by the Light", but I cheated on the artist so I'll leave that up for grabs.
How about this one?
oh you're a hard one,
your pain and your hunger they're driving you home...
it may be raining, but there's a blue sky above you,
you better let somebody love you before it's too late.

BTW, "Blinded by the Light" would be Manfred Mann's Earth Band, but the song was penned and first performed by Bruce Springsteen, who to date, has yet to have another song chart at #1 on the billboard 100. (one of my faves too)
and Watcher, that's Desperado...Eagles :fogey:

I couldn't take it any longer god I was crazy when the feeling came upon me like a tidal wave, started swearin to my god and on my mothers grave that I would love you till the end of time. So now I'm prayin for the end of time to hurry up and arrive , cause if I gotta spend another minute with you I dont think that I'll be able to suvive.

Thanks Rick for responding! I was beginning to think I was just throwing out the lyrics, and I'd never get an answer!
That's a great one just posted...okay I cheated again, so I can't say what it was, but Meaux is right, it is Meat Loaf, although somebody else might have done it too! :thumb:
